The Internet-Mana party counted on Hone Harawira winning his Te Tai Tokerau electorate to give the coalition two seats in Parliament.
Which would see Laila Harré take that second seat.
In what some might call a shock outcome, Kelvin Davis took the electorate from Hone Harawira.
Which means: No Internet Party, no Mana Party and one less woman in parliament.
We should know more about the next step for these two parties after Labour weekend, as they have a date set for October 25th to talk about their coalition and future without Kim DotCom.
